Who are we?
We are students from the Food and Sustainability course at Concordia University, under the supervision of Professor Erik Chevrier in partnership with Concert’Action Lachine.
Our Goal
The objective of this research project is to map the food system in Lachine in order to cultivate the development of a more sustainable community food system.
Check out www.ConcordiaFoodGroups.ca for an example of a previous mapping project.
Expectations
You will be contacted by a student. Students will carry out short interviews with community groups in Lachine who provide food services. We will make the information available on an interactive, website for everyone in the community to access: www.CommunauteAlimentaireLachine.ca.
Each of the two interviews will require about an hour of your time- depending on the length of your response.
Please note that the interviews will be conducted in English because the students are from Concordia. If this is an issue, please notify us right away and we will do our best to accommodate your organization.
If you would like to familiariaze yourself with the questions that our students will be asking please click on the buttons below:
Questions?
If at any time you have questions about your rights as a research participant, please contact Erik Chevrier by email or (514) 998-5889
I thank you in advance for your participation in this important food mapping project.
